Before and After Pictures

January 27, 2013

So I have been wanting to do this for a while and finally made the time:

Here are before and after pictures of Goliath

Before:pre ii0003

I think it is pretty apparent where Goliath is.   This was my MRI taken in November of 2011 prior to surgery.

Here is my most recent MRI taken in December of 2012:

Dec MRI cropIn looking at this MRI, Goliath is the light gray oval shape below the bright white spot.  The brighter white spot represents the area of my brain where the mass was removed and has been recovering ever since surgery.

Granted this is not the most accurate method of comparing, but I think it does give a quick view of the progress.  The process of comparing MRI’s is not as easy as just looking at two images side by side.  However for purposes of my blog, this works.

Based on these images you can see that things look much, much better.  It is still an uphill battle, but it is encouraging to see that Goliath is getting smaller.

Much of life, perhaps most, is all about change. These pictures surely illustrate this notion in its most profound nature. The ultimate goal is certainly to ‘defeat Goliath’ and that outcome will turn on a number of factors to be sure, along with one’s definition of ‘defeat’ . However, one thing is absolutely certain from the evidence of these pictures over the course of the past year+ —- Goliath has been rocked backwards on ‘his heels’!!!
This is a VERY good thing !!!
    Remarkable ! Overwhelming !

It would appear that Goliath doesn’t stand a chance!! Keep charging down the road to victory!!!
